In summer of 2021 I took a solo trip up to the Mull of Galloway in Scotland to hit up some fishing on the west coast as I’d heard there were more species over there that you can’t really get on the north east coast.
I stayed in a small town called Stranraer, it was pretty dreary, but the surrroundings were nice. I blanked at the loch on the day of arrival, but on the following day caught dogfish (a small shark species) off a rocky beach on the western peninsula.
