Filey Brigg is a long rocky shelf down the back of the tall cliffs near Filey.
You go from the campsite up to the top of the spine splitting the bay and the north sea, then dip to the left down rugged grass cliffside to what we liked to call the “Ladder of Doom” - a 30ft talll rusty metal ladder bolted into the side of the cliff face leading you down to the rock shelf below.
It’s a really great place to fish, we had Wrasse out and Vas even got stung by a Weaver (lol). I cant say I enjoyed the climb back up those ladders though…
